ABS, PC, PP, PE, Nylon, PC ABS, TPU, glass filled nylon, ASA and food contact grades, sourced from established chemical suppliers.

WHY / 03

Aluminium And Steel Tooling

Aluminium tooling for fast prototype to bridge runs, hardened P20 or H13 steel tooling for high cycle production.

WHY / 04

Local Project Management

Your project runs through one engineer end to end, covering design review, T1 sampling and any change requests along the way.

WHY / 05

Sampling And Approval

First shot parts are dimensionally inspected and sent for your approval before any production run ever begins.

WHY / 06

GST Compliant Invoicing

Clear, itemised tooling and per part invoicing, GST compliant throughout, with tracked dispatch anywhere in India.

Our Workflow

From CAD To Production Moulded Parts

A clear, engineer managed process from the first design review through to a dispatched production batch.

STEP 01

DFM Review

Send your part CAD and target volume. We review draft, gating, wall thickness, undercuts and material, then quote tooling and per part price.

STEP 02

Tooling Manufacture

Aluminium tools in 3 to 5 weeks, hardened steel in 6 to 10 weeks. We supply CAD of the finished tool for your own records.

STEP 03

T1 Sampling

First shot parts are inspected, photographed and shared with you for approval before production. Tooling adjustments are made if required.

STEP 04

Production And Dispatch

Approved tooling runs your production batch, with packaging, labelling and freight handled to your specification.

What We Deliver

Injection Moulding Done With Engineering Rigour

Injection moulding carries the lowest per part cost of any plastic manufacturing process, but only when the tool is right the first time. Voxelcore India spends as much time on design for mouldability review as on the tooling itself, because the cost of an avoidable tooling change is always higher than the cost of catching the issue on a CAD screen. Every tool we commission goes through T1 sampling and your written approval before a single production part is run.

Engineering DFM review before any tooling is cut, covering draft, gating, wall and undercut

Aluminium bridge tooling for 100 to 10,000 parts, hardened steel for higher volumes

Over moulding such as TPU on ABS or TPE on PP, and insert moulding for brass, magnets or PCBs

Over 20 engineering polymers in stock from established chemical suppliers

T1 sample, dimensional report and approval gate before any production run begins

Packaging, kitting, labelling and freight coordinated under one purchase order

Materials

Polymers We Mould Every Week

From everyday ABS housings to food contact PP and over moulded TPU grips.

General

ABS

Tough, paintable and plateable, the most moulded plastic in the world. Default choice for housings, consumer electronics and toys.

Flexible

Polypropylene (PP)

Living hinge capable, chemically resistant and food contact safe. Used for caps, closures, fluid containers and kitchen products.

Optical

Polycarbonate (PC)

Optically clear and impact resistant. Used for safety lenses, light covers, medical housings and transparent enclosures.

Hybrid

PC ABS

Blends PC heat resistance with ABS toughness. Common for automotive interior trims and ruggedised electronics.

Engineering

Nylon (PA6, PA66, GF)

Tough, wear resistant engineering nylon. Glass filled variants add stiffness for gears, bearings and structural parts.

Soft Touch

TPU / TPE

Flexible elastomers for over moulded grips, gaskets, seals and soft touch consumer product features.

Outdoor

ASA

UV stable thermoplastic for outdoor and automotive exterior parts that will not yellow the way ABS does.

Regulated

Food Contact Grades

Approved PP, PE and PET grades for food contact, cosmetics and pharmaceutical packaging applications.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

A run of 100 parts is enough to justify an aluminium bridge tool. Steel tooling only starts paying for itself once volumes reach roughly 1,000 to 5,000 parts, the point where it beats CNC or 3D printing on a per part basis.

Aluminium tooling is usually done in 3 to 5 weeks. Hardened steel tooling for production needs 6 to 10 weeks. If a launch date is tight, ask about our express tooling option and we will quote a faster timeline.

A basic aluminium prototype tool generally falls between ₹1,50,000 and ₹3,00,000. A production grade steel tool for a cosmetic consumer part is more commonly ₹4,00,000 to ₹15,00,000 and up. Tooling and per part costs are always quoted separately so the volume decision is entirely yours.

Yes, this is routine work for us. That includes over moulding a soft TPU or TPE layer onto a rigid part, and inserting brass fasteners, magnets or PCBs directly into the mould.

Every tool is built and run inside our own facility in India. One engineer manages the programme from start to finish, so you are never passed between an offshore tool shop and a local go between.

Yes, that is folded into the same purchase order as the moulding itself, covering artwork, kitting, barcode labelling and freight. We coordinate with established Indian logistics partners, whether parts are headed to a warehouse, a retailer or straight to the end customer.
